The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health.The Registered Nurse will assist Clinic leaders and Medical Providers with additional and unique needs of the patient population. Serves as the clinical resource for all clinical team members in the clinic. Models leadership qualities for other team members and assists the Clinic Leaders with day-to-day operations. May order or assist with ordering of clinical supplies, linens, pharmaceuticals, as well as maintain inventories and required logs/documentation.This position requires providing services to all age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served.Completion of a nursing program as approved by the State Board of Nursing.Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required. 3 years of related experience preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia prior to onboarding.AHA Healthcare BLS required.Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and Universal Precautions protocol.This job description integrates the AAACN Scope and Standards of Practice for Professional Ambulatory Care Nursing, the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, and the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.Medium to Heavy Physical Demand: The job requires constant standing, frequently walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs. For any weight over 35 lbs., use Safe Handling Equipment.May require the use of safety equipment, such as HEPA mask, for infection prevention: YesOn call responsibilities as directed: NoAbility to travel between campus buildings, remote facilities, and out of town as needed: YesThe base compensation range for this role is $32.57 - $52.89 hourly.Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
