Greenville Center (3) - Housekeeper Location: Greenville, RI 24 hours/week Job Summary: Welcome to AdviniaCare, where we provide a continuum of senior living and care services. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team. Responsibilities: Ensure residents' rooms are neat, clean, and free from odor Wet mop floors daily Shampoo and extract carpets as per schedule Attend to spills immediately Empty trash liners and clean containers Clean bed and rails with disinfectant Clean all countertops, windowsills, bedside tables, furniture, and over-the-bed items Strip, seal, and refinish floors as per schedule Clean floor edges and corners to prevent build-up Clean windows and mirrors Clean personal items, pictures, decorations, flowers, etc. Demonstrate correct safety techniques Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions Comply with privacy practices and protect residents' health information Other duties assigned by the managerial team Requirements: Minimum of one (1) year experience in housekeeping in a nursing home or other related medical facility (preferred, but not required) Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel and handle residents based on their current maturity level Ability to seek out and accept new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing housekeeping practices Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixture of cleaning compounds, liquids, cleaning instructions, etc. Ability to communicate information effectively to appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations Work Environment: As a member of our team, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.
