Quality Compliance Manager — Federal Construction (USACE/NAVFAC)Mission
In Bremerton, WA, you will lead the charge to deliver zero-defect outcomes. Your mandate is simple: translate specifications into field-proven practices and ensure every milestone meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Your impact- Design and administer a project-specific QA/QC plan that drives consistency and predictability.
- Execute systematic inspections and tests to confirm compliance with design documents and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with PMs, design engineers, and subcontractors to close gaps, correct nonconformances, and prevent recurrence.
- Produce comprehensive QC documentation, trend analyses, and recommendations that inform decision-making.
- Provide training, coaching, and oversight to embed quality culture across the team.
- Continuously evaluate changes in codes, standards, and industry guidance to keep the project aligned.
- Represent quality interests to the client, ensuring transparent communication and swift resolution of concerns.
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 5 or more years dedicated to construction QA/QC or a closely aligned function.
- Robust knowledge of construction workflows, materials, inspection protocols, and quality benchmarks.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven capability to diagnose problems, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and contemporary QC software solutions.
- Quality credentials such as CQI or CQM are preferred extras.
- USACE, VA, or GSA project experience
- NAVFAC-specific training
- CQM-C
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Quality management and inspection software
