Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time

Laurel, MD
$37–$41/hour

Ultimate Therapy looking for a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing rehabilitation team. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced clinicians to help residents improve mobility, restore function, and achieve their highest level of independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

What You'll Do

• Carry out individualized treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, balance, gait, endurance, and mobility
• Track resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate residents and caregivers on safe mobility techniques, home exercises, and fall prevention
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation that meets facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is preferred but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
