About the Role

Regional accounting firm seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, client engagements, and staff development. Position is available on-site or hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

Review individual, business, trust, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
Identify and resolve tax issues and provide tax-planning recommendations.
Manage multiple client projects and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
Oversee tax engagements from planning through completion.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Coordinate staff assignments and monitor engagement progress.
Delegate work and support staff development.
Stay current with tax laws, regulations, and industry developments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA or EA certification required.
6-8+ years of tax compliance experience.
Experience with individual and business taxation.
Strong communication, organizational, and managerial skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Corporate, trust, and partnership taxation experience.
Multi-state tax experience.
Federal income tax knowledge.
Tax research and planning experience.
Experience serving clients across multiple industries.
Business development experience is a plus.
