Job Title ICU Registered Nurse – Travel Nursing Assignment Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an ICU RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Dallas, Texas. Key Details Location: Dallas, TX Start Date: 02/24/2026 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours: 3 × 12‑hour shifts per week Facility: Hospital (LevelIV Trauma Center with 816 beds) Charting Systems: Citrix, Commure (Care), Dell, FUJIFILM (Synapse), GE Healthcare (Centricity) Required Qualifications One year of recent ICU RN experience Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications Preferred Qualifications Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification TNCC and NIHSS certifications Additional certifications or licenses relevant to the position Responsibilities Assess and monitor critically ill patients, promptly responding to subtle changes in condition Administer complex medications and treatments using approved critical‑care techniques Operate and manage advanced life‑support equipment Ensure patient safety and comfort in high‑acuity ICU environments, attending to physical and emotional needs Record significant events, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record in a timely manner Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters Provide patient and family education about the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations Communicate closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care Maintain proficiency in critical‑care procedures and technologies through ongoing education and training Adhere to strict infection‑control protocols and hospital safety standards Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency Perform other duties within scope as assigned Required Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication English reading, writing, and communication proficiency Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; basic PC skills Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment up to 100lbs, push, pull, and bend Professionalism and positive attitude when working with diverse personnel Adaptability to irregular schedules and high‑pressure environments Visual acuity and effective communication capabilities Benefits Highly competitive travel pay Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with first‑day coverage Paid Time Off after 1,560 hours Life and short‑term disability coverage 401(k) matching Refer‑a‑Friend bonus program 24/7 recruiter support Reimbursement for licensure and CEUs Other Duties Disclaimer To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
