The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic medical team in Danville, VA. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with our staff and physicians to provide exceptional evaluation, monitoring, treatment, and emotional support to patients throughout their visits and procedures. This is a fast-paced, highly rewarding environment where you can truly act as a patient advocate, ensuring every individual feels safe, respected, and empowered. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Advocacy: Monitor patients, assist physicians with medical procedures, and provide unwavering physical and emotional support during visits. Clinical Excellence: Administer routine and/or emergency medications per physician direction, protocol, and licensure. Review and document patients' health histories and consents precisely. Safety & Compliance: Maintain a secure and healthy environment by following clinic standards, procedures, and legal regulations. Seamless Communication: Collaborate closely with the Physician and clinic staff to ensure an efficient daily flow of patients. On-Call Rotation: Carry and answer the after-hours clinic phone on a rotating schedule (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off). What You Bring to the Team Licensure: Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia OR an active multi-state/compact state nursing license. Mission Alignment: Must passionately support access to abortion and embody A Woman's Choice values. Experience: Experience in the reproductive health field and assisting with medical/surgical abortions is preferred, but a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced medical care office is key! Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document legibly and objectively. Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail (performing repetitive tasks without error). Flexibility and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure. A collaborative spirit--you genuinely enjoy working as part of a team! Language: Bilingual skills are a plus, though not required.
