Job Info Job Location: Portland, Oregon Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 1 year Handling: Light Touch Additional Information CDL A Driver |Pneumatic Bulk & Flatbed |$32/Hr TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local pneumatic bulk and flatbed operations based out of Portland, OR. This position offers steady hours, home daily scheduling, assigned equipment, overtime opportunities, and the chance to join a growing operation with brand-new trucks. CDL A Driver Details Pay: $32.00 Per Hour OT Schedule: Monday – Friday Home Daily Average 40 hours per week Monday / Wednesday / Friday: 4:00 AM start time Pneumatic bulk cement deliveries Tuesday / Thursday: 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM start time Local flatbed deliveries Automatic transmission trucks Assigned truck (brand new equipment) Pneumatic Driver Responsibilities Operate pneumatic bulk trailer hauling dry powder cement Operate blower system to unload product into silos Complete approximately 2 loads per day Monitor unloading equipment and follow safety procedures Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and paperwork Flatbed Driver Responsibilities Operate 40 ft flatbed equipment for local deliveries Secure loads with straps and tarp freight when weather requires Assist with general flatbed responsibilities as needed Forklift support available onsite Training provided for flatbed operations CDL A Requirements: Valid CDL A license Tanker endorsement required Pneumatic or tanker experience preferred Flatbed experience is a plus but not required Minimum 2 years of driving experience preferred but not required Clean Motor Vehicle Record Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Additional Information: Small team-oriented operation Minimal downtime between loads Local delivery locations Opportunity for additional hours if desired Client willing to train strong candidates on pneumatic and flatbed operations Benefits: Weekly pay Paid time off 401(k) Apply now or call View phone number on click.appcast.io.
