Job Description
CT Technologist - Emergency Department (ED)

Schedule
- Shift: 12-hour days, 08:45-20:15
- Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday (required)

Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years CT experience
- License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submittal
- Required certifications: ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), BLS
- Experience with Siemens FORCE scanner required
- CT procedure experience: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CT angiography (CTA), multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
- Preferred skills: outpatient, IV starts, PACS/Visage, contrast administration

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans for a diverse patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of CT equipment.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining consent.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care within an emergency setting.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in imaging technology.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: ~48 hours; participation in full orientation is required for start.
- RTO after booking is not allowed; any call-offs could lead to a cancellation.
- COVID-19 vaccine NOT required; Flu vaccine REQUIRED with exemptions allowed.
- Pre-start modules required before starting the position.
