- Serve as the on-site HR partner for plant leadership and employees
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for production and salaried roles
- Administer onboarding, offboarding, and new hire orientation
- Support performance management and corrective action processes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and employee files
- Coordinate benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
- Track and report HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, headcount)
- Support engagement initiatives and employee communications
- 5+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Experience supporting hourly workforce populations
- Comfortable working fully on-site in a plant environment
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and partner effectively with operations leadership
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
- Hands-on, approachable, and visible on the floor
- Solutions-oriented and practical
- Comfortable balancing strategic support with transactional HR work
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a production-driven setting
