Fiber Optics Technician

Job Description A high-power defense laser company located in Longmont, CO is seeking to hire a Fiber Optics Technician to join their growing team. This individual will support the assembly, integration, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic and laser subsystems used in advanced directed energy applications. Responsibilities include fiber splicing, polishing, routing, inspection, repair, and assembly of precision optical components and small‑scale electro‑optical assemblies in a cleanroom environment. This role involves highly detailed, repetitive work with small parts that requires excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. The ideal candidate is comfortable following established processes, working independently, and supporting production and development efforts in a fast‑paced engineering environment. This position is fully onsite in Longmont, CO.
