Job Title: Back of House Team Leader Location: Pembroke Pines, FL Company: Chick-fil-A Pines and 160th Job Type: Full-Time, 3 day work week Job Summary: Chick-fil-A Pines and 160th is seeking a dedicated Back of House Team Leader to assist in the efficient and smooth operation of our kitchen and food preparation processes. As a Back of House Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring food quality, safety, and kitchen performance during designated shifts. Key Responsibilities Kitchen Supervision: Lead the back-of-house team during assigned shifts, overseeing food preparation, cooking, and assembly processes. Ensure that Chick-fil-A's high food quality and safety standards are consistently maintained. Team Support and Training: Assist the Back of House Director in training and mentoring kitchen staff to ensure they perform their roles effectively. Provide guidance, motivation, and support to team members during busy shifts. Order Management: Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure accurate and efficient order preparation and delivery. Help streamline kitchen operations to meet peak demand without compromising on food quality. Food Safety and Cleanliness: Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, emphasizing food safety practices and cleanliness. Conduct regular equipment checks and ensure preventive maintenance tasks are completed. Inventory and Supply Management: Assist in managing inventory levels and orders for kitchen supplies and ingredients. Monitor food costs and wastage to optimize profitability while maintaining quality. Communication: Maintain effective communication with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure a cohesive and coordinated work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
