Together with our 11 local Member cooperatives, we generate and transmit reliable, affordable electricity to the communities we proudly call home.We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead maintenance operations at Plant Batesville. This position is responsible for supervising maintenance personnel, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations.Key Responsibilities:Supervise, train, and develop maintenance personnel.Oversee daily maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment reliability.Plan and coordinate outages, weekly work schedules, and maintenance projects.Develop long-term maintenance strategies and reliability improvements.Manage contractors, purchasing, materials, and maintenance resources.Maintain accurate equipment records and work history in the CMMS.Review blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals and provide technical guidance.Develop project scopes, specifications, cost estimates, and budgets.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.Coordinate equipment installations, modifications, and construction projects.Identify training needs and promote continuous improvement.Qualifications:Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited) OrBachelor's Degree Chemical Engineering (ABET Accredited) OrBachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering (ABET Accredited) Or*8 Years of Electric Power Generation Experience may be accepted in lieu of degree plus High School Diploma/GED in addition to the experience listed below.Experience Requirements:5 years Electric Power Generation or Industrial Maintenance Experience And3 years Supervisory ExperienceCertification and Licensures: Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening - RequiredValid Driver's License- RequiredWhat We're Looking For:The ideal candidate is someone who...Prioritizes safety and follows established procedures to protect people, equipment, and the communityDemonstrates reliability and a strong sense of responsibility by showing up and following throughActs with integrity and professionalism in all interactionsApproaches work with a service mindset and a willingness to support othersCollaborates effectively as part of a unified teamContributes to a workplace culture rooted in respect, inclusion, and belongingWhy Join Us: We support our team with a competitive salary, 100% company-paid medical insurance, pension plan, 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, generous leave, and more.Why It Matters: When you join us, you join a mission built on service, collaboration, and purpose.
