Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Breakfast Attendant for the Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA.

Position Summary: To set up, maintain, and organize the buffet before, during, and after service times.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The position requires performing the following essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Maintains the entire buffet by keeping all food looking fresh and full
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas at all times
• Maintain proper stocking levels of all utensils and china
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Other duties

• Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
• Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing of all supplements of the buffet.
• Perform other duties as requested such as answering telephones and taking room service orders, handle special guest requests, and greet and seat guests.
• Assist servers when needed
• Assist other departments as directed

Required knowledge / skills / abilities:

• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of sideboard items.
• Ability to transport large trays weighting up to 40lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis.
• Ability to read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take orders.

Education / Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
