Position Summary

Responsible for generating in store sales by providing excellent customer service to our walk-in clients. A counter sales person must have the personality and temperament to deal with customers in a professional, polite and efficient manner. The counter sales person must provide answers about products, promotions, supply and other pertinent information as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promptly assist customers at counter. Ask pertinent questions, provide information they may need, take orders and provide excellent customer service
• Answer telephones professionally and pleasantly, assisting customers, taking orders and customer service
• Provide product / job quotes as appropriate
• Keep showroom up to date with seasonal product displays
• Assist with shipping and receiving of orders, orders must be priced and invoiced daily
• Work with Warehouse Personnel on orders
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks as needed

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish)
• High School Diploma
• Strong computer and communication skills
• 2+ Years Turf Experience – Preferred
• One-year related work experience
• Reliable transportation
• Great people skills
• Organized and Timely
• Honest, hard working & professional
• Positive attitude & energetic personality
• Motivated and able to learn a vast number of products
• Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds
