Speech Language Pathologist - Physical Therapy

Description The practice of speech-language pathology shall include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, communication, and demonstration of techniques addressing speech-language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to meet the needs of patients and their families with supervisory guidance provided as needed. Otherwise, a speech-language pathologist shall work independently without direct supervision. Required Qualifications Master's Degree Conferred from an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program. Coursework/Training Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year. Upon hire: New Mexico Speech Language Pathologist license - New Mexico Speech‑Language Pathology. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Upon hire: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology - American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association. 2 years Professional experience. Preferred Qualifications Coursework/Training Educated or trained in dysphagia assessment and management. Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only): Degree from accredited program. 1 year Acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience.
