Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience. - First-time travelers are accepted. - Experience with trauma program including gunshot wounds and car accidents is a plus. - Familiarity with surgical procedures, including general surgery and gynecology, is preferred. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room. The patient population includes infants to geriatrics. Experience with Da Vinci robots and hybrid surgical rooms is helpful but not mandatory. The nurse will participate in a variety of surgeries including orthopedic trauma and ENT specialty procedures. No experience with open-heart surgery or organ transplants is required. The average daily census is 32 with 10 operating rooms. The nurse will be responsible for covering call approximately 7 days per month, including holidays. Weekend shifts will be required approximately every third weekend unless specified otherwise. The nurse must demonstrate full compliance to start on time. Major holidays falling within the assignment period must be worked as scheduled. Compliance with all onboarding requirements is necessary to ensure a timely start. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
