Forklift Operator

Interior Exterior Building Supply is looking for hard-working, dependable people to join our team in Athens, AL As one of the Southeast's largest suppliers of commercial and residential building materials, we need strong team members who know how to work and help keep our warehouse running.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced job. If you have forklift experience, can handle heavy materials, and know what it means to work hard and work safe, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Load and unload trucks with building materials
• Pull and stage orders for delivery and customer pickup
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Keep the warehouse organized and materials in the right place
• Help maintain inventory and stock levels
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, safe, and ready to work
• Work side-by-side with drivers, warehouse crew, and management to keep things moving
• Follow safety rules and help maintain a safe workplace

What You Need:

• Forklift experience is REQUIRED
• Experience handling drywall, metal studs, insulation, ceiling tile/grid, or other construction materials is strongly preferred
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet all day
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Willingness to work hard in heat, cold, and changing conditions
• Ability to work fast, stay organized, and pay attention to details
• Team mentality - show up, do your job, help your crew

Preferred:

• Warehouse or building supply experience
• Knowledge of inventory systems
