As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site management, local law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
