Billing Specialist II

Utilizing expertise in medical coding and revenue cycle management, the full-time remote Billing Specialist II will manage patient account payments, submit and follow up on insurance claims, and maintain accurate data within the practice management system. Key responsibilities Maintains the practice management system by entering and verifying insurance and claims information, and managing payments received Prepares, submits, and follows up on clean claims, while investigating and correcting rejected claims Provides timely customer service by resolving patient billing issues and facilitating invoice payments Required qualifications High school graduate or equivalent Minimum three years of billing experience Minimum one year of healthcare experience preferred Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and medical insurance Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office applications
