Leidos Defense & Maritime Readiness Divisionare seeking a Warehouse Specialist. The successful candidate will support logistics operations of the Navy Array Technical Support Center (NATSC), Newport RI, by performing physical tasks related to the handling of incoming and outgoing material. Primary Responsibilities Vehicle loading and unloading. Material receipt and issue Inventory maintenance Receipt, issue, and location recordkeeping (hardcopy and electronic) Material movement (using hand and powered lift trucks) Packaging and preparation of materials for shipment All pertinent warehouse operations Basic Qualifications Previous experience supporting warehousing activities. Previous experience reading/interpreting warehouse storage plans. Experience with the operation of standard office equipment (phones, computer, fax, and copiers). Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record. Must be a US Citizen and have Interim Secret clearance to start on program and obtain final Secret to remain on program. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting NATSC warehousing activities. Previous experience reading/interpreting warehouse storage plans. Additional Information This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum wage requirements as well as the minimum Health and Welfare benefit.
