Job Description

At Copain, we bring together the comfort of a neighborhood café with the craft of a true boulangerie. Guests visit us for hand-crafted pastries and naturally leavened breads, all served through our approachable counter service. From retail items to made-to-order coffee and specialty drinks, we create a warm atmosphere for the community to enjoy good food and good company. We are hiring Counter Service Associates to join our team at Copain Winston-Salem. In this role you will support the daily operations of the counter, from greeting guests and preparing beverages to assembling orders and keeping displays organized.

What You’ll Do

Welcome and assist guests with a positive and professional attitude
Prepare coffee drinks, other beverages, and guest orders with accuracy and care
Stock and display pastries, breads, and retail items consistently throughout the day
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, dining area, and back-of-house spaces
Assist with inventory rotation and receiving daily deliveries
Complete additional tasks assigned by management, including daily opening and closing procedures
