As an Access Control Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and following established entry and exit procedures. Monitor access points, vehicle traffic, deliveries, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
