Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a dedicated educator who brings both compassion and skill to the classroom. The ideal candidate will have expertise working with K–2 students in cross-categorical (cross-cat) environments, ensuring each learner receives individualized support and encouragement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher
• Prior experience supporting K–2 students, particularly in a cross-categorical resource or self-contained setting
• Ability to communicate with parents, colleagues, and specialists effectively
• Strong organizational and case management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 8 students, delivering instruction tailored to diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate a range of abilities
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers and school support staff
• Facilitate communication with families and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and self-confidence
