Job Description:

The Power BI Developer will support enterprise reporting and business intelligence initiatives by designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data models. The candidate will work closely with business users, developers, database administrators, and financial stakeholders to modernize reporting processes and provide actionable insights through Microsoft Power BI.

The ideal candidate will have strong Power BI expertise, IBM DB2 database experience, advanced SQL skills, and experience working with financial data including General Ledger (GL), Revenue, Purchasing, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing data environments and data structures to determine transformation requirements.

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

• Create and manage Power BI paginated reports.

• Develop Power BI dataflows and semantic models.

• Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and improve existing reports.

• Build reporting roadmaps and BI strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Convert WebFOCUS and Mainframe FOCUS queries into T-SQL queries.

• Work with database administrators to create database views, stored procedures, and optimized reporting structures.

• Automate data transformation processes and reduce dependency on Excel-based reporting.

• Analyze financial datasets and recommend enhancements to data models.

• Manage and administer Power BI workspaces and reporting environments.

• Train business users and financial teams on Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Ensure compliance with data governance and reporting standards.

• Support integration with Microsoft Power Platform components.

Education:
