A rewarding opportunity awaits for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional onsite services in a public school environment near Rockville, MD. This contract role allows you to directly impact students’ communication skills and overall educational success. As part of a supportive school-based team, you’ll work with a diverse pediatric caseload while collaborating closely with educators and support staff.
Key Qualifications:
- ASHA CCC’s held for a minimum of 1 year
- Active professional license in Speech-Language Pathology
- At least 1 year of IEP experience
- Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week
- Open to both experienced SLPs and SLP-CFY candidates
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative spirit
- Motivated to make a positive difference in students’ lives
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management capabilities
- Technologically adept; able to handle digital paperwork, learn new software, and troubleshoot basic tech issues
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, onsite speech-language services to students in a public school setting
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation
- Work closely with an interdisciplinary team and participate in team meetings
- Employ evidence-based practices tailored to each student’s needs
- Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in supporting school goals
