Radiology - CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Pending state license accepted Certifications: ARRT-CT or ARRT-R required Must-Have: Experience in CT Advanced imaging skills in various procedures Ability to manage on-call duties Description:The role involves working in a critical care environment with a focus on CT and X-ray imaging.Candidates will be expected to perform a daily caseload of approximately 28 procedures.Weekend coverage is necessary on a rotating basis depending on staffing needs.On-call duties are part of the position, covering after hours and weekends.The technologist will work in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support teams.Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in using advanced imaging technology.Experience with various imaging modalities and procedures is essential.Working shifts range from early morning to early evening.Flexibility in scheduling and accommodating block scheduling requests is preferred.Candidates should have experience in a diverse patient age group from neonates to geriatrics.The facility emphasizes a teamwork approach to patient care and safety.Candidates must adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety practices.This position requires the ability to prioritize patient care and workflow in a high-volume setting.Additional responsibilities may include assisting with special procedures and patient management.
