This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Operating Room RN - Level 1 Trauma Center Shift Details

• 3x12-hour shifts
• Day/Evening/Night rotating shift schedule
• On call/callback, floating, holidays, and weekends per unit needs

Position Overview

• The OR cares for a wide variety of patients
• Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
• Facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Two Da Vinci robots utilized across multiple services
• Active transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts

Job Requirements

• RN License (New York state license ONLY)
• Minimum two (2) years of operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center (required)
• Ability to scrub and circulate (required)
• Telemetry experience (highly desired)

Certifications

• BLS - American Heart Association ONLY (required)
• ACLS (preferred)

Preferred Surgical Experience

• Specialty cases including transplants, plastics, and reconstructive surgery
• Craniotomy
• Strong orthopedic background
