Insurance Sales Agent - Wheatridge, CO

Overview It’s a great time to join AAA The Auto Club Group! This is a full‑time, hourly position for an Insurance Sales Agent who will generate new sales, retain members, and grow ACG’s book of business. Responsibilities Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer needs and generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow the overall insurance book. Effectively overcome objections to close sales and/or retain the insured. Work to meet or exceed targets defined in the sales incentive plan and assigned by the manager. Conduct insurance reviews for clients to identify suitable products. Use provided tools and underwriting guidelines to assess risk, recommend products, quote, bind, and issue policies. Engage in market‑based interactions at business establishments and other convenient locations to solicit new business, expand networks, and build rapport. Respond to customer inquiries and requests relating to insurance, membership and financial products. Qualifications Active Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain it prior to starting. Active Life license or ability to acquire it within 90 days. Valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products. High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year(s) of sales or customer service experience. Strong sales skills with a history of developing, tracking, following up on, and closing leads. Advanced consultative selling techniques and thorough product knowledge. Strong phone sales and prospecting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and customer focus. Ambition, motivation, and drive. Proficiency with desktop systems including Microsoft Office. Excellent listening skills and ability to understand customer needs. Benefits Guaranteed hourly rate of $21.63 (annualized $45,000) plus commissions and bonus opportunities. Eligibility for overtime.
