Job Overview

An outpatient facility in Glendale, California is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on experience in Radiation Therapy and be comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient oncology environment delivering radiation treatments safely and accurately.

Responsibilities
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
Position patients accurately for treatment procedures
Review treatment plans and verify radiation dosage
Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions
Maintain detailed patient treatment records and documentation
Collaborate with oncologists, physicists, and healthcare staff
Ensure patient safety and compliance with radiation protection standards
Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout treatment
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent Radiation Therapist experience
Must have worked in the specialty within the last 3 months
ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) REQUIRED
Certification of Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RTT) REQUIRED
Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification (TRT) REQUIRED
BLS Preferred
Fluoroscopy Permit from state Department of Health Services Preferred
