Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in Hobbs, New Mexico. This position involves providing perioperative nursing care within a busy surgical environment. The role requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to clinical protocols, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a short-term acute care facility.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 1 year of OR experience, certifications in ACLS and BLS, experience with abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, blood management, ambulatory procedures, orthopedic surgeries, and general OR protocols
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of gynecology, orthopedics, and general surgery procedures; experience with Epic charting system and prior community hospital or acute care experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required based on unit needs
• Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced surgical environment, with duties including patient care before, during, and after procedures. Strong clinical skills in orthopedics, gynecology, and general surgery are essential.
