Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - OR Circulator with strong orthopedic and MAKO robotics experience for a 13-week acute care assignment.

Details

• Acute care setting within an 11 OR suite and 1 GI suite surgical department handling 30-50 cases per day
• Primarily circulates for orthopedic cases including total joints (MAKO), arthroscopy, spine, foot and ankle, hand, and ORIF, with some general, ENT, GYN, and plastics cases
• Uses MAKO robot equipment
• Utilizes EPIC EMR
• 10-hour day shifts with 1-2 late shifts assigned per week
• On-call requirements include 1-2 weekday call shifts within a 4-week period and 1 full weekend call shift for the 13-week assignment duration
• No floating to other units or departments

Requirements

• Active SD or compact state RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required, both must be AHA-issued
• 3-4 years of recent OR circulator experience required
• Strong orthopedic experience required, including total joints and arthroscopy
• Robotics experience required, MAKO experience highly preferred

Additional Information

• Circulate for a high-volume orthopedic surgical caseload alongside general, ENT, GYN, and plastics procedures
• Scrubs provided in Ceil Blue
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Candidates who previously worked for the health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission and must disclose any prior employment
• Local candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate
