Preadmission Testing Physician Assistant Or Nurse Practitioner
Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Preadmission Testing Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our Piedmont Athens-Regional Hospital. Our preadmission testing position work Monday through Friday 8:30 to 17:00 schedule offering a consistent and flexible lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
- Examine, evaluate, and treat patients with serious medical conditions, illness or injuries.
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patients medical record.
- Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care.
- Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings.
- Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise. Apply preventative and alternative treatment strategies for possible procedural complications.

Qualifications:
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing Required and
- Masters degree in Nursing Required or
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board Required
Work Experience
- Experience is preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- ACLS Upon Hire Required and
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
- PA - Physician Assistant Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. Updated NCCPA certification for PAs. Upon Hire Required or
- ACNP - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP/FNP) in the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required
