Computed Tomography Technologist

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Falmouth, MA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform CT scanning procedures, operate CT equipment and peripheral devices, position and prepare patients, assist physicians with contrast administration when authorized, evaluate image quality, and maintain radiology records and safety standards. Work follows department policies for radiation protection, infection control, and patient confidentiality. Maintain required continuing education and participate in professional development activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA- or JRCERT-accredited Radiography program or equivalent.
• ARRT certification in Radiography.
• Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control.
• Certification from an accredited CT program or current ARRT CT registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Either 3 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist or 1 year current CT technologist experience within the last 5 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a hospital radiology/CT environment.
• Experience assisting with administration of radiographic contrast media under radiologist supervision.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1100-1900.
• Standard hours per week: 40.
