This role reports to the Marketing and Communications Manager and will work in coordination with the Director of Media Relations and Communications.Position SummaryThe Marketing and Communications Coordinator works as part of the Communications team to provide administrative and writing support for marketing content initiatives, including social media and videos, awards nominations, and press releases. The position will help to drive social media and communications efforts for the firm’s offices in Florida, as part of the overall global marketing and business development team. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesSupports the digital communications strategy of the firm, focused on the Florida offices and targeted practice areasDrafts, posts, and coordinates images and content published to the firm’s social media accountsCompiles weekly social media newsletters to encourage attorneys to engage with social media contentMaintains and updates firmwide nominations awards tracker, including due dates and successful outcomesAssists with firmwide nominations research, writing, and proof readingMaintains photo files and multi-media assets, working on video productions as neededTrains attorneys on how to utilize social media for business developmentAssists with writing press releases and other marketing collateralCollaborates with marketing colleagues to provide social media support for firm eventsCreates and maintains media lists and assists with media relations function, including scheduling interviews, writing media pitches and preparing background research or talking pointsCollaborates with marketing and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions and teamsAssists with other responsibilities and administrative tasks as neededQualificationsSkills & CompetenciesA self-starter and team player, able to accept direction, yet work independentlyExcellent prioritization, problem solving and time management skillsOutstanding communication skills, both written and oral; strong writer who excels at turning complex information into easily understandable copyFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment that works well under pressureTech-Savvy problem solver who will have the ability to learn new programs or systems with easeHighly organizedInterest in social media, digital, and multimedia marketing strategyA positive attitude, strong attention to detail and possesses excellent multi-tasking and organizational skillsEducation & Prior ExperienceBachelor’s degree requiredTwo to four years of marketing and communications experience; legal or professional services marketing experience highly preferredKnowledge of AP Style, as well as rules of English grammar and styleFamiliarity with Cision or other PR DatabasesExperience with graphic design and SEO a plusTechnologyProficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook requiredKnowledge and experience across all social media platforms, specifically Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTubeDemonstrates a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), including core capabilities, limitations, and importance of data privacy, accuracy, verification, and ethical considerations within a professional services environmentFamiliarity with or willingness to learn AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools) and incorporate them responsibly into day-to-day workflows to enhance daily work tasks as appropriate and/or directedProactive approach to learning and adapting to emerging AI and related technologies and contributes to a culture of innovationGT is an EEO employer with an inclusive workplace committed to merit-based consideration and review without regard to an individual’s race, sex, or other protected characteristics and to the principles of non-discrimination on any protected basis. #J-18808-Ljbffr Greenberg Traurig
