Production Supervisor

First Shift Production SupervisorThe First Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for leading frontline production operations while executing plant objectives related to safety, quality, productivity, and people development. This role provides direct leadership to 20–60 hourly associates, including full-time and temporary employees, and is accountable for building a strong safety culture, driving performance, and ensuring consistent service to our healthcare partners.This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a supervisor who enjoys being present on the floor, developing people, and driving results in a fast-paced industrial environment.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesLead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goalsSupervise, coach, and develop production associates to promote engagement, accountability, and teamworkEnforce all safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and Novo standardsMaintain a strong safety-first culture and proactively address hazards and unsafe behaviorsEnsure production schedules are met while optimizing labor utilization and workflow efficiencyMonitor quality standards to ensure products meet Novo and customer requirementsPartner with Maintenance, Quality, and Plant Leadership to address operational issues and improve performanceSupport onboarding, training, and performance management of production staffSecondary ResponsibilitiesIdentify and support continuous improvement opportunitiesAssist with staffing, scheduling, and coverage planningTrack and communicate key production and safety metricsSupport standard work, audits, and compliance initiativesRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferredMinimum 3 years of experience in a production supervision or industrial/manufacturing environmentDemonstrated knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety protocolsProven experience leading hourly teams and supporting employee developmentStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to lead in a fast-paced, safety-critical environmentWhy NovoPurpose-driven work that supports patient care and healthcare operationsStable first-shift leadership opportunityCollaborative team environment with a strong focus on safety and people developmentOpportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding healthcare services organizationWhat we can offer you as a full-time associate: Competitive pay, Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off Program (PTO), 401(k) w/Employer Match, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA), Medical, Dental, and Vision Programs, Basic Life/AD&D Insurance, Long-Term Disability (LTD)
