Director, Technical Product Manager - Digital Assets

Salary: $30,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements:

• We bring 12+ years of experience in product management or technical product management, ideally within financial services or market infrastructure.
• We have 4+ years of hands-on experience with digital asset custody, wallet infrastructure, or adjacent market infrastructure supporting settlement and safekeeping.
• We are technically fluent and able to work closely with engineers on APIs and integrations, review logs and metrics, and use data to validate outcomes and troubleshoot issues.
• We understand digital asset custody operating models, safeguarding expectations, and control frameworks.
• We understand wallet types and architectures (hot, warm, cold), the transaction lifecycle, and blockchain network mechanics such as fees, finality, and reorgs.
• We understand key management and cryptography concepts, including MPC and HSMs, key ceremonies, backup and recovery, and secure signing.
• We understand operational risk topics for custody, including approvals and entitlements, travel rule considerations, reconciliation, auditability, and incident response.
• We have experience supporting multiple blockchain networks and asset types, with a practical approach to adding new networks safely.
• We have experience delivering secure, resilient, and auditable software in regulated environments, including strong SDLC practices, change management, and operational readiness.
• We have a proven track record of delivering platform products end to end, turning complex technical concepts into clear roadmaps, requirements, and prioritized backlogs.
• We are execution-focused and experienced in working with multi-disciplinary teams across product, design, and engineering.
• We have strong communication skills and can gather requirements across cross-functional partners.

• We drive delivery of key Digital Asset Custody capabilities, including wallet services, key management, and operating workflows, by translating outcomes into clear requirements and a prioritized backlog.
• We write detailed product requirements, define acceptance criteria, and partner with engineering to estimate, sequence, and deliver custody features such as deposits and withdrawals, transfers, whitelisting, approvals, entitlements, and reporting.
• We work daily with Compliance, Technology, Operations, and Risk to refine requirements, document control needs, and ensure custody releases meet client commitments and regulatory expectations.
• We partner with engineers and architects to evolve custody services and integrations through APIs and events to trading, settlement, and accounting platforms, with a focus on resiliency, auditability, and operational controls.
• We contribute to custody security and control design by capturing control requirements in stories, supporting threat and risk reviews, and helping collect evidence for audits, including MPC and HSM usage, access governance, and segregation of duties.
• We own end-to-end feature delivery across custody workflows, including UAT support, runbooks, and go-live readiness with operations.
• We support build-versus-buy evaluations by gathering requirements, comparing vendor capabilities, and documenting tradeoffs across security, regulatory expectations, resilience, cost, and time to market.
