This inpatient facility provides psychiatric services for adult patients requiring evaluation and treatment for dual diagnosis, substance use, and detox conditions. The facility operates with established protocols for inpatient psychiatric care delivery within a structured therapeutic environment. The organization maintains resources to support effective psychiatric treatment for an average census of 25 patients.

New Orleans offers a range of attractions suited to diverse interests, including City Park, which features a train, paddleboats, and a sculpture garden. Visitors may also explore swamp tours, the World War II Museum, and walking tours through local bars and restaurants. Additional options include sightseeing bus tours highlighting the city's architecture, a historic cemetery, and the Garden District.

The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients during day shifts, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work required. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing medications for patients presenting with dual diagnosis, substance use, and detox conditions, with an average census of 25 patients and an average length of stay of 7 days. The clinician will maintain on-call availability for 1-2 evenings per week in accordance with the facility call schedule.
