Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Response in Florence NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally respond to alarms and other security-related concerns and provide outstanding customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms access concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including business offices entrances parking areas and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify authorization as directed by site procedures and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observed conditions policy concerns and incidents to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
