General ManagerThis position is classified as exempt and reports to their market's District Manager and Chief Operating Officer.General Managers are responsible for providing guidance and leadership to their team to create a positive culture, maintain high team morale, and encourage all team members to strive for excellence. You will execute and assist in the development of action plans according to company goals and objectives. You will manage and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant focusing on staffing, team member development, sales growth, cost management, and ensuring operational standards are consistently upheld.Once eligible, General Managers qualify for:Medical, Dental, Vision (Company paid Employee Coverage on the first of the month following 60 days)401K with Employer MatchPaid Vacation and HolidaysBonusesThe information provided below encompasses the functions and values associated with this position.Complete all training requirements including: General Manager Development Plan, Basic Operations Training, and Manager TrainingFood Safety Certification (Serv Safe) and Manager CertificationAny additional training required by the companyEnsure that the restaurant delivers great experiences to guestsMaintain appropriate staffing levels by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, retaining, and recognizing top performersEnsure team members receive proper training including ongoing mentoring, coaching, and development while holding team members accountable for their performanceEnsure effective work schedules are created timely and appropriately to drive sales and control labor costsPlan and delegate shift assignments including communicating expectations and adjusting as neededEnsure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheldCreate and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale by providing guidance and leadership while being an example and role model for the teamManage profitability through driving sales, controlling costs, developing team members, and ensuring operational standards are consistently upheldStrive to increase sales by building community relationships and providing outstanding product and serviceControl costs and losses and strive to improve at every opportunity by maintaining operational standards, and ensuring compliance with all company guidelines, policies, and proceduresComplete performance reviews for crew members and assist with performance reviews for managersMaintain compliance with company, federal, state, and local laws, guidelines, policies, and proceduresUtilize management tools and keep neat, accurate, and current recordsReview performance metrics daily and develop action plans to enhance the execution of systems and processes to improve profitability, sales, and guest experienceHandle and report guest and team member complaints/concerns/injuries timely and in a friendly and respectful manner to Direct SupervisorRegularly assist and communicate with multiple departments including maintenance, training, human resources, payroll, and accountingMaintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position descriptionEnsure the team works safely and follows all safety guidelines and proceduresEscalate concerns to your supervisor when appropriateAll other duties necessary to ensure restaurant operations function properlyThe following requirements must be met in order to qualify for this position.Ability to work a minimum of 45 hours per weekAbility to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysMust have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportationSuccessful completion of drug screen and motor vehicle reportSubject to periodic, random, drug screenings and monthly motor vehicle checkMust possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with othersLeadership experience requiredThe following capabilities are required to perform the essential job functions of this position.
