Located in Madison, WI Salary: $21-23/hr Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Material Handler for a well-established steel distribution company in the Madison area. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Pay: $21-23/hr BOE Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Friday Responsibilities:- Pull and stage steel orders for customer deliveries
- Load flatbed trucks according to delivery schedules and routes
- Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes
- Stock, organize, and maintain steel inventory
- Perform quality checks to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Assist walk-in customers with material pickup and questions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
- Previous warehouse, material handling, or forklift experience preferred
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move 50+ lbs on a regular basis
- Comfortable working with steel and other heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
