Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including conducting physical examinations and carefully reviewing medical histories
• Actively participate in diagnosing surgical conditions using a thorough analysis of imaging results and laboratory findings
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop individualized surgical strategies that cater to each patient's needs
• Provide essential support during surgery, from preparing the operating room to ensuring precise patient positioning and instrument delivery
• Offer exemplary pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wound care, and providing patient education during discharge

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Experience with surgical rotations is highly desirable

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification is a must
• A valid BLS and ACLS certification is required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique
