About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Philanthropy Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and implementing a comprehensive annual development plan in alignment with the organization's initiatives. This includes the development and monitoring of the annual contributed revenue and expense budget, as well as the effective recruitment and leadership of the Development team. The role involves integrating the Capital Campaign Plan, researching and growing various giving programs, and collaborating with the Board of Directors. The Chief Philanthropy Officer will also be tasked with providing ongoing training and development for the staff, as well as coaching and directing Board members in fundraising activities. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in a related field, with a master's or other graduate degree being a plus, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in non-profit fundraising and grant writing. The role requires a strong commitment to relationship building, customer service, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage in prospect research, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a professional and proactive approach. Knowledge of non-profit development principles, experience in Tessitura, and the ability to work with diverse groups are also essential qualifications for this position.
