Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate Sam's Club #6524, 735 Southpark Blvd, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-3605 $17.00 - $25.00/hr Full time; shifts may vary Position Summary Our members love shopping for fresh food at Sam’s Club because of our hardworking and friendly fresh food associates. As a freezer, cooler, and deli stocker, you play an essential role in maintaining the operations and sanitary conditions of our frozen and chilled sections, ensuring that products are ready for members. In the deli department, you will be on the front lines of customer service, providing assistance and ensuring a positive shopping experience. What You'll Do Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area, including handling claims, zoning, receiving, stocking, pricing, and conducting required audits and documentation. Provide member service by acknowledging members, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products. Follow food‑handling and cold‑chain procedures, operate and sanitize equipment, clean the freezer/cooler/deli area, monitor equipment functioning, and report issues to management. Ensure high‑quality products are taken care of and available for members, clean shelves, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser‑quality items. Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays, maintain a clean, sanitized area ready for members. Minimum Qualifications Minimum age 18 years old. Must successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within prescribed timeframes. Preferred Qualifications Experience in stocking and customer service, passion for the role, strong communication, adaptability, creative problem‑solving, and a commitment to member satisfaction.
