Job Description

Since opening our doors in 1987, Chris’ Pancake & Dining has been a beloved St. Louis tradition, known for our hearty breakfasts, homestyle lunches, and warm, welcoming atmosphere. We believe in serving up more than just delicious food – we create a place where guests feel at home, whether they’re here for their morning coffee or a Sunday family brunch. As a server at Chris’, you’ll be part of a team that treats guests like friends and coworkers like family.

What You’ll Do:

Greet guests with a genuine smile and make them feel welcome
Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations
Take orders accurately and deliver food and drinks promptly
Ensure all guests have a positive dining experience from start to finish
Keep your section clean, stocked, and organized
Assist teammates and support a smooth flow of service during busy shifts
Process payments accurately and thank guests sincerely as they leave

What We’re Looking For:

Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for great service
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
Previous serving experience preferred, but not required – we’ll train the right person
Weekend and holiday availability is a plus
Able to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages
