Security / Loss Prevention Officer

Immediate Opening – Fulltime Loss Prevention Officer Location: Joplin, MO Job Description Identify shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV. Report writing. Interact with local law enforcement agencies as needed. Provide courtroom testimony as required. Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently. Fulltime – 40 hours per week. Job Requirements Pre‑Employment criminal background and drug screen. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3‑4 hours at a time. Reliable transportation. Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means. Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports. Must be assertive yet controlled in dealing with confrontation. Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision. Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated. Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement. High school diploma or equivalent (minimum). Criminal Justice or related studies a plus. This is an immediate opening. Paid training provided. Pay: $23.00 per hour. Benefits 401(k) plan. Paid Time Off (PTO). Health Insurance.
