Overview Job Title: Carpenter II - Facilities Management (Full-Time, Day Shift) Description: Creighton University is seeking an experienced Carpenter II to join our Facilities Management team. In this role, you\'ll perform skilled carpentry work including building, repairing, and maintaining university buildings and contents. You\'ll complete both rough and finish carpentry projects , read blueprints and drawings, estimate materials and time, and ensure compliance with building and safety codes. This position offers stable, full-time day hours (Monday-Friday) with great benefits and a supportive work environment. Responsibilities Perform skilled carpentry construction, installation, and repair work Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Estimate cost, time, and materials for projects Inspect contractor work for compliance with standards and safety regulations Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 4-5 years of carpentry experience or completion of an approved apprenticeship program plus one year of experience Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work safely at heights of 20+ feet Basic computer proficiency Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record Must be 19 years of age or older Benefits Competitive pay and excellent benefits Paid time off and retirement plan Professional development opportunities Work-life balance and a positive team culture Schedule Full-time, primarily day shift, Monday-Friday.
