# Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** September 7, 2026 **Location:** Pasadena, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day shift; 1:1 patient ratios; on-call required including weekly and one weekend per month**Highlights:**- Multi-specialty Operating Room with 10 beds supporting a diverse surgical case mix- Collaborative team environment with 54 staff members including RNs, surgical technologists, and support staff- Work with open, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and gynecology- EMR system: Meditech converting to Expanse- Opportunity to expand surgical expertise in ENT, vascular, and pediatric cases- Day shift only with no floating requirements**Requirements:**- Current RN license in Texas- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required- Strong experience in orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and gynecology procedures- ENT, vascular (non-cardiac), and pediatric experience preferred- BSN preferred- Must be available for on-call coverage including weekdays and one weekend per month**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**Join a dynamic multi-specialty OR where you'll work with advanced surgical technology including robotic systems across diverse procedures from orthopedic trauma to laparoscopic and robotic gynecological cases.
