Senior Advanced Software Engineer/Atlassian & DevOps Tools Expert

As a Senior Advanced Software Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will leverage your deep expertise in Atlassian tools and modern DevOps/DevSecOps practices to play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions while enabling secure, automated Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and toolchains across the software development lifecycle. You will report directly to our Sr IT Manager and you’ll work on a hybrid work schedule out of our Phoenix, Arizona site. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software systems. Lead the integration, administration, and customization of Atlassian tools including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo to support Agile and DevOps workflows. Design and operate CI/CD pipelines integrating source control, build, test, security scanning, and artifact management tools. Manage and support artifact repositories using Artifactory, including repository structure, access control, and lifecycle management. Integrate and administer code quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Black Duck Hub, and Coverity to enable DevSecOps practices. Automate workflows, reporting, and dashboards across DevOps and DevSecOps tools to improve developer productivity and compliance. Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to embed security and quality checks early in the SDLC. Troubleshoot CI/CD, build, and deployment issues across environments. Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, and tool usage.
