Specialist Associate (Facilities Management) University-Level Unit: University Campus Infrastructure Faculty/Department-Level Unit: Campus Asset Management Employee Category: Executive & Administrative Location: Kent Ridge Campus Posted On: 31/08/2026 Job Description The candidate will support the delivery of high-quality facilities management at the assigned Halls of Residence, contributing to the department's operational mission. Facilities Maintenance and Operations — Coordinate all activities required to maintain and enhance the physical and functional integrity of residential facilities, including work authorisation, inspections, and emergency preparedness Stakeholder Liaison — Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities-related issues requiring action or escalation in the Reporting Officer's absence Contractor Coordination and Oversight — Supervise subcontractor works and ensure compliance with agreed scope, standards, and timelines Budget Data Preparation — Source and collate data to support the annual budgeting process for repairs and improvement programmes Issue Resolution and Management Escalation — Escalate critical issues for management decision, and manage the resolution of complaints and service requests Ad Hoc Duties — Undertake other duties as assigned Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Building Services, or in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering Minimum 3 years' experience in building or facilities management, with a hands‑on approach to identifying and resolving facilities issues Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports and technical specifications Good interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Office applications #J-18808-Ljbffr National University of Singapore
